RF-Temp 500.4 provides wireless temperature monitoring over a distance of up to 500m.

Features

Master unit - 4 analog (4-20mA) outputs representing a -10 to + 40C range.
Sensor units (up to 4 per Master) - 1 digital temperature sensor.
Up to 4 Masters can operate together within the same area providing monitoring for up to a total of 16 sensors.
Operating distance up to 500m line of site.
Repeaters can be used to extend the range.
Sensors sample the temperature every 10 minutes & transmit the value to the Master if there is a change of more than 0.5C.
If the temperature remains constant, then the value is transmitted every 30 minutes.
4-20mA outputs from the Master are latched @ the last transmitted value.
If a value from the sensor is not received for 2 hours, then the Master output channel & LED are switched off.
As soon as a value is received again from the sensor, the Master output channel & LED are switched on again.
An out of range value of <-20 or >+50C will switch the channel off & flash the LED.
Master - low voltage 12 to 28VDC supply.
Sensor - internal battery supply, no external wiring required.
A low battery condition on the sensor will be indicated by the corresponding channel LED flashing on the controller - the output channel will remain active.
Pressing the test button on the sensor causes it to read the temperature & transmit the value every 10 seconds for 5 minutes - used during set up.
No programming required.
Low power radio that is licence free.
For use in non hazardous areas & non safety critical applications.
